Mass Stealth
Strained my foot from a particularly nasty vault. Might have to rest which totally sucks, but that puts my mind more on work anyway.
So I was at the poh huat park today, not parkour but park, so sad. Nevermind, can't resist a few vaults, cat balances here and there..heehee.
Then saw a guy who's acting on tv at poh huat playground, that Mr Kiasu guy or whatever. He looked damn anxious, looking around, like someone or something was going to pop out and kidnap his children or sth liddat. Chill dude. Singaporean actors are paid peanuts compared to US hollywood stars, anxious for what.
Besides that me and HS were discuss upon systema and ninjutsu.
"Did Russia conquer Singapore?"
"No."
"Did the japanese conquer singapore?"
"No."
=/
"I prefer systema coz it's more practical, unlike ninjutsu which is like showing off."
DUDE! Ninjutsu is STEALTH! You're not supposed to see me, show off for wat!
ninjutsu so good meh. lol.
how did the british let s'pore fall into japanese hands.
they think the jungle too tough for japanese..
then the soldiers do mass stealth attack.
Come into S'pore on bicycles! Not in tanks but bicycles sia.
Really wondering upon the concept of a mass stealth attack.
It's almost impossble to pull off, but if done so, then man. Some people must be blind, deaf, and dumb at the same time.
MASS STEALTH!
Possible sia.

Skillz
so i think i should train precisions later. just realised there's one guy, that's from ri, a fellow traceur, and he lives at poh huat road, which is like behind my hse! omg. yay. but then again, looking back at the start of my journey, yea, i've begun to look at things differently. everything starts looking like a playground, a place to explore, to view things in an incredibly totally different point of view. whoa.
i still like my metal.
but i'm not the only that's changing, after reading jerome's blog entries, i guess everybody's changing.
must train precisions later. and i am so gonna do saut de chat tomorrow!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=MF4H1Ut9jLU
these guys have skills, now to apply them to real life.

Jam
well, somehow i feel that Jacq Chua is different from most teachers, upon hearing i practice parkour, she didn't react strongly like..'that's dangerous!' etc. well, guess she understands the youth more...lol, like that's ever gonna happen with any teacher!
today's jam was seriously not bad. Meet felix and a couple of other guys and germaine -.-
but progress is really exponential when practicing with others, i have to agree that the whole experience is much better than being a webtraceur. and man have i been improving!
will be getting the picture for you soon dd! and my blogskin should be coming along just fine..

Album Review: Riders of the storm
I have no idea why i'm doing this but i guess there's this sudden urge within me to write a review. So why not.
Artist:Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
Album: Riders of the Storm
Seriously, this band is still full of energy since '95. And they have gone increasingly 'patriotic' with more of their songs in their native tongue German. Though I get this feeling that their songs are very nordic and norwegian where there's alot of happy tunes including alot of violins and keyboard sounds.
The tracks that strike me the most are Friede Sei Mit Dir which is extremely energetic, and the song that got me their album in the first place. Though the ending was quite suddenly, nevertheless, it is still a great song.
Der Adler sounds more techno than the rest, and the inspiration background tune of the chorus really makes it quite impressive.
Another striking part of their songs is that throughout the whole album, everything sounds terribly super-charged and energetic, forgive me for repeating that word but truly, there is no space for a breather with Fuchs going all out with the vocals. Even though this album like the others are still full of life, I must say that unlike their last album Samurai which geared towards death metal, 24/7 death growls, Fuchs has 'calmed down' alot, the vocals used is alot cleaner, but that doesn't make it less wild and full of vibe, it's the emotions projected through the voice, not the ferocity of the voice itself.
Overall, the great complicated guitar riffs, heavy bass, occasional but ever rewarding keyboards and the cleaner vocals makes this album stand out from their rest, but then again, besides another few months to enjoy this compliation of classic thrash metal, we can only wait and hope that their next album is as good as this.
